Responsibilities: Defining system specifications that migrate the existing processes and legacy applications to a modern web-based solution. Have a strong general knowledge of application development and architecture principals and will serve as an expert on AWP modules/products. Ensuring team comprehension of technical and functional concepts for this individual will support the team Product Managers and document use cases specific to any AWP module or Business Use Case that requires reporting or other analytics tools. Perform this work by developing Use Cases, Test Cases, Test Scripts, UX modifications using XML, reporting using SQL, using the AWP embedded version of the Grape City development tool, in an Agile development team that uses AzureDev/Ops software. Governance of quality for the reports and Data Analytics tools/queries and dashboards, and any associated visualizations as assigned, ensuring the highest possible quality outputs and reducing technical debt through adherence to AWP implementation Best Practices and Standards provided by AASHTO and its vendor. Provide technical research, troubleshooting and support for the development team and Businesses related to their work products, and collaborate with the development teams on integrations with other legacy applications and systems (SAP/SharePoint, etc.) Meeting with leaders to gather intelligence, and demonstrate system capabilities, and support. Work with other analysts to break down the design into milestones and work items, tracking status, managing communication and dependencies both to the technical team, and to the business customer. Coordinate test validation and rollout for functional components, ensuring customers are informed & trained with sufficient help& training materials. Preferences are for familiarity and experience with AASHTOWare Project Preconstruction, CRL and Data Analytics modules, preconstruction, letting, certified payroll processes, and post-bid market analysis, considerable experience building complex analytics queries and building analytics dashboards, business analysis, agile development conventions such as SCRUM, and general familiarity with Agile development lifecycle.
