Role: Website Developer with strong Drupal exp - REMOTE Location: Los Angeles, California Duration: 6 months 7 day(s) Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9693 Client: Sligo Software Solutions Location: Remote Total Exp: 10 Having state client experience will be a great plus The qualified candidate must possess the following skills and experience: BA.BS degree or equivalent practical experience using Content Management Systems (Drupal) Experience with HTML5 and CSS Experience performing website maintenance Posting and modifying web content Knowledge of best practices for web creation Understanding of general responsive design principles and solutions for the modern multi-platform web Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills when interacting with all levels of management, customers, project team and Staff. High proficiency in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the project team, LADBS staff, and other City Departments. Experience working respectfully in a culturally diverse work environment. Ability to work independently and with teams. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks, and meet deadlines for delivering assigned tasks Proficiency in writing Technical Documentation. Ability to gather, interpret and evaluate complex information and data. Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and Gmail Evaluation Criteria: LADBS will first review the TOS Responses received and select up to 4 of the most qualified candidates to be interviewed based on experience in the following areas: Over 5 years of experience in Information Technology Over 5 years of experience in Drupal administration Over 5 years of experience in the design, testing, implementation, documentation, and support of web design Work Products and Outcomes: The Website Developer shall meet the following key high-level work products and outcomes as identified by LADBS: (Note: this list is not exhaustive.) Plan, implement, manage, monitor Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues Create appropriate webs Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets t Create, upload and maintain websites content including imagery, files and text using a Drupal Content Management Framework Participate in user interface design as needed Post documents and announcements on the website Provide expertise and support to end users and other members of the IT support team. Edit basic web content using HTML, within a CMS Ensure PDF files comply with ADA and WCAG 2.0 conformance standards and modify when needed Feature-complete LADBS website, signed off by upper management Other related tasks identified by LADBS IT staff.
