| Job Title : Windows Admin Location : Chicago, Illinois (Onsite Role) Long Term Contract General Description: The Platform Solutions Design team is looking for an individual with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Systems with a focus on architectural design. The individual should have experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2019, infrastructure server designs, Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM. This position involves working on application environment design and ensure platforms are secured, up to date and are running properly. Emphasis for this position will be on planning server design, architectural designs, Server system analysis/testing, costing models, hardening and security practices. This individual will also review and test current documented process procedures and provide recommendations for enhancements. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Ideally, the candidate should have significant (5+ years) Microsoft Server System infrastructure design and building primarily with MS Windows Server 2008 through 2019. Knowledge in server analysis and system issue diagnosis, building architectural diagrams for server infrastructure, SCCM, and Experience in Azure Sentinel, PowerShell, and ServiceNow strongly suggested. A record of working effectively with other teams and within a cross-functional team is important. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS - Skills Required: Microsoft Server design & server building with a minimum of 5 years of Windows Server experience Microsoft SCCM administration and patching minimum of 2 years Microsoft Server log review & troubleshooting, Microsoft Azure, Azure Sentinel Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender, and Cloud App Security minimum 5 years Microsoft Active Directory 5 years Strong Windows security background and security evaluation Experience in security permissions, and privileged access management Familiarity with VMware concepts and how they apply to a highly virtualized environment Knowledge of multisite disaster recovery and high availability planning testing and implementation Excellent Problem solving skills Capable of handling multiple project assignments independently Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment A security-minded individual and ability to responsibly use administrative access Ensure compliance for Windows server hardening -- Regards, Vikas Suhag https://www.linkedin.com/in/vikas-suhag-47a74921a/ -- Keywords: information technology microsoft New Requirement Urgent need :: Windows Admin [email protected] |
