Job Title: Business Analyst (Workday)

Location: Charlotte, NC, Detroit, MI & Jacksonville, FL

Need recent Banking or Finance domain experience.

Must be local

Top Three Skills: Workday experience specifically with the Talent and Performance module. Would also prefer HCM, Reporting, Security, and Learning. -Project management skills including organization, prioritization, and time management; ability to juggle short-term and longer-term initiatives; ability to reprioritize accordingly to meet immediate needs -Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; 

Required Skills: 2+ years of consulting experience -1 Full lifecycle Workday Implementation -Minimum 4 years experience in Workday; 

Desired Skills: Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment -Strong interest in collaboration, both within the People Operations team, primary business stakeholders, and across the organization; Ideal Candidate Profile: Were looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative, organized, analytical and detail-oriented for this critical role on our team. This individual will support our HR Digital Solutions - Workday team and internal business partners. This is a key role in the development, on-going maintenance, and operational and technical support of all aspects of the Workday HCM system. In addition, this individual is expected to take a critical role in the design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of key HR COE identified projects. Industry Experience: It may be good to have someone with HR at a Financial Services company but not required; Certifications: Workday Partner or PRO certification (HCM, Reporting, Security, Talent & Performance, and/or Learning); Work Schedule: 40 hours per week onsite preferred (Charlotte, Detroit or Jacksonville).

Interview Process: 2 3 rounds video conference will work. If the candidates are in the Detroit, Charlotte or Jacksonville area, onsite would be great.

Job Description:

Support Workday HCM & Reporting with a focus in Talent, Performance, and Learning work streams to address an active backlog of enhancements while recommending best practices related to Workday functionality.

This individual will support our HR Digital Solutions - Workday team and internal business partners. This is a key role in the development, on-going maintenance, and operational and technical support of all aspects of the Workday HCM system. In addition, this individual is expected to take a critical role in the design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of key HR COE identified projects.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the Workday HCM, Talent, Performance, and Learning system expert and support the functional lead in the day-to-day support of business processes, reporting, security, and dashboards to ensure consistent, high-quality business operations

Enhancement Work to include the following:

Understand Agile Methodology and have working knowledge of JIRA

Participate in working sessions and meeting cadences with clients and Portfolio Management to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements

Architect the Workday solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated

Provide subject matter expertise to aid in decision making related to the functional solution

Provide the project delivery & functional leads with status updates andkeep them apprised of overall project status

Provide consultation and technical support for HR functions including HRIS, with a strong focus in Talent, Performance, and Learning

Serve as the subject matter expertise for Annual Performance Management cycles (mid-year, yearly, etc.) and address related tickets in a timely manner

Have working knowledge of Workday's Guided Workspace

Process Support to include the following:

Working knowledge of ServiceNow and operate within the SLAs when addressing tickets closure with detailed notes

Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users

Operate within the SLA for ticket closure and update ServiceNow with all notes

Partner directly with Workday for issue escalations, system defects, and resolutions

Maintain optimal function of the HRIS through continuous development, maintenance and R2 to applications, systems, and modules; collaborate with leadership and People Operations to identify needs and then recommend and implement solutions/best practices

Ensure the security, scalability, reliability of HRIS, including managing priorities and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment

Maintain data integrity, system documentation, and aligning HRIS with business needs

Perform knowledge share sessions with fellow members of the HR Digital Solutions team and document processes, where needed

Must have:

2+ years of consulting experience

1 Full lifecycle Workday Implementation

Minimum 4 years experience in Workday

Experience as a Report Writer, with the ability to design and create custom reports and dashboards.

Workday Partner or PRO certification (HCM, Reporting, Security, Talent & Performance, and/or Learning) strongly preferred

Strong working and configuration knowledge of Workday configuration, EIBs, including business process design, configuration, calc fields, and condition rules

Risk Adverse and support Ally's Risk Framework

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable fielding difficult questions

Project management skills including organization, prioritization, and time management; ability to juggle short-term and longer-term initiatives; ability to reprioritize accordingly to meet immediate needs

Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions, make recommendations and implement changes accordingly

Demonstrated judgment and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters effectively

Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment

Strong interest in collaboration, both within the People Operations team, primary business stakeholders, and across the organization

Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Experience coaching, training, or mentoring others
