(Onsite ) Duration: 12 Months Visa: Green card or US Citizen ***Must have great communication skills*** Key Responsibilities and Job Duties Support and operation of Linux-based servers. Open source and commercial software integration, support and optimization within containers. Developing containers with Docker and Apptainer (formerly Singularity) technology. Operate and troubleshoot web based HPC applications, services and workflows. Reviewing and applying appropriate security modifications to Linux systems. Maintain and support commercial modeling and simulation environments. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in system administration. Strong knowledge of RedHat and Debian-based operating systems. Proficient in Bash scripting and other shell scripting languages. Experience building and maintaining open-source and commercial software with [Docker OR Apptainer] container technology. Experience developing and securing containerized applications and HPC environments. Knowledge of Linux file systems and permissions. Knowledge of shared network storage protocols (NFS, CIFS). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field Proficiency in Azure Pipelines or CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes. Experience with HPC job scheduling systems (e.g., Slurm, Torque). Experience with HPC technologies like GPUs, deep learning frameworks, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture. Experience with parallel computing paradigms (MPI, OpenMP, etc.).
