| From: Tamkeen Aslam, Orbit People [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job description for SAP MDG Functional Consultant Location : US- NJ 8 years (+) experience working as SAP MDG Functional / Technical consultant Act as a MDG Functional SME for the SAP MDG in their day-to-day operations. Oversee and support the development of the solution, validate the functionality as per business needs, support UAT testing and User training. Working closely with SAP MDG architect and SAP MDG squad to help assess issues, change requests etc. and providing appropriate resolution. As part of implementation cycle write User Story/Business Requirement Specification and work with MDG team to get it deliver as per the business requirement. Coordinates with business users and other IT departments to design, develop, implement, enhance and maintain complex solutions. Be able to fulfill the role of a SME for SAP MDG Material master and Finance master domain. For Material master functional knowledge needed in entities like (Material Basic, Classification, Planning, Quality, Classification) For Finance master functional knowledge needed in entities like (GL Accounts, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Order) Collaborate with different domains (functions) to resolve cross domain issues and developments. Good to be familiar with data integration across systems using SAP MDI Understanding and familiarity with MDG application framework and various governance API's. Experience in client facing roles.
