The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and supporting complex budgeting, forecasting, and planning systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and related technologies. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Hyperion Planning applications to support business requirements. Build and maintain Essbase cubes, including cube design, build, and optimization. Develop complex rule files and logic to drive application functionality. Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Hyperion Planning and Essbase. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Hyperion applications. Required Skills: Hyperion Planning: In-depth experience with implementation, configuration, and support. Essbase: Strong proficiency in cube design, build, maintenance, and optimization. ASO/BSO/Hybrid: Solid understanding of Essbase cube types and their applications. SQL: Expertise in SQL development and database administration. Maxl/MDX Scripting: Hands-on experience with scripting for automation and data manipulation. Report Creation: Proficiency in creating and maintaining reports using Hyperion reporting tools. Shared Services: Knowledge of security administration and user management. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Communication skills: Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hyperion DRM/DRG. Knowledge of data loading and integration processes. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or other EPM modules. Certification in Hyperion Planning or Essbase.
