H4EAD Interview date 10 ,11, 12 August 2024 and Project start from 15August 2024 Overview: We are seeking an Expert Level Technology Services Project Manager to lead the modernization effort of our IT Service Management/Remedy Modernization Project. The project aims to address critical IT Service Management needs, focusing on asset management, incident management, change management, customer self-service, and IT service desk modernization. Transitioning to the cloud will enhance service management functionalities, improving business outcomes in areas such as purchasing, asset management, and customer self-service. The new program will also expand HR's use of service management, enable mobile device asset management operations, and optimize remote access for customer assistance and self-help. Additionally, it will enhance scalability, automate service management tasks, and provide advanced reporting tools for quality assurance and demonstrating value to the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead the modernization effort for the IT Service Management system. Utilize expert-level knowledge and experience in PMI PMBOK methodology. Oversee the procurement, configuration, and implementation of a cloud-based SaaS/COTS solution. Ensure the system supports mobile devices, remote self-help, automation, and telework. Comply with relevant standards and policies (State Administrative & Accounting Manual, PCI Data Security Standard, WaTech policies). Mandatory Knowledge and Skills: Project Management Experience : Expert level lead project manager experience (10+ years). Experience with procurement, implementation, and integration of enterprise-scale SaaS/COTS solutions. Proven track record in agile/scrum project management methodologies. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget. Certifications : Current, valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from PMI. IT Project Management : Experience leading enterprise-scale accounting, capital management, and data management systems projects (10+ years). Expertise in creating and maintaining IT project PMBOK documentation. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, Visio, and Dev-Ops. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desirable Knowledge and Skills: WaTech Experience : Prior experience managing projects requiring Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech) oversight. Familiarity with Section 701 and/or gated funding documentation. Project Experience : Prior experience managing similar IT projects. RFI/RFP/RFQ Solicitations : Experience creating Washington State Request For Information (RFI), Request For Proposal (RFP), and Request For Quotation (RFQ) solicitations. ITIL Certification : Expert level knowledge of IT Service Management implementation. Current, valid ITIL 4 certification. Summary: This role is for a highly experienced project manager with deep expertise in IT Service Management, cloud-based solutions, and large-scale enterprise project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, PMBOK documentation, and compliance with specific regulatory standards.
