This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of our product line. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of driving cross-functional collaboration and delivering outstanding results. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with business objectives. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business owners, IT teams, and vendors. Requirement Gathering and Prioritization: Elicit, analyze, and prioritize product requirements based on business needs and customer feedback. Agile Methodology: Drive agile product development, managing product backlogs, and ensuring timely delivery of features. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify product innovation opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.Required Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Product Owner in a complex, enterprise environment. In-depth knowledge of Peoplesoft Financials, with a strong focus on Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier Management. Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product development lifecycle. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.Preferred Qualifications Experience with SaaS-based product development. Knowledge of ITIL framework. Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies.Location This position requires the candidate to be local to Pleasanton, CA or surrounding areas due to the need for in-person meetings at least one day per week.
