Northrop Grumman is seeking a (PRS DFTV) Sr Principal Systems Engineer
. This position is located in Roy, UT
 and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

This position s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

What You ll Get To Do

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Create and maintain SysML and UPDM models in Cameo EA; interface with subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, system engineers and specialty engineers to capture Launch Systems GBSD structure and behavior using accurate UPDM/SysML representations according to OMG standards
Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems
Perform requirements analysis, develop source data for requirements, generate test requirements and prepare test reports
Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for the systems engineering function
Interface with AF customer and Subcontractor
Create Test Plans, Reports and review test data for electrical and mechanical components (including video components)

You ll Bring These Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 9 years of experience; or Master's degree with 7 years of experience; or PhD with 4 years of experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
Experience with Software/ Firmware development and Testing (C, C++, and FPGA Experience)
Systems Engineering Experience including SysML and UPDM models in Cameo EA, requirements analysis, generating test requirements and preparation of test reports
At least 3 years of experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have
Experience with ICBM Weapon System or Aerospace programs
Experience with cameras and tracking video analysis (Digital Image Correlation Experience)
One of more years of experience working/ managing subcontractors (managing statements of work/ objectives, managing funding/ costs, etc.)
Two or more years of experience leading or managing technical work/ scope

Salary Range: 
$114,900 - $172,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
