It's a tax engine that displays financial data, and taxes that will have to be paid by. They are enhancing and modernizing their internal software then turning it into an external product for trading platform companies or large financial institutions. The team/pod is around 7 resources (developers, testers, scrum master, architects) looking for a candidate that is full stack (C#/Angular) and is open to working 70-80 percent of the time on the front end ***TPL is not a must have here; only a nice to have JD: Responsibilities As a Full Stack Developer, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in the design and development of product functions and features Participate in sprint planning and estimation activities Write high quality frontend code to add features and functionality to the product Write effective APIs to ensure responsiveness and efficiency Integrate with backend APIs as well as third party APIs Create security and data protection settings Review pull requests and ensure high code quality Integrate with third party systems via services and APIs 70-80 percent frontend development and 20-30 percent backend development Basic Qualifications Bachelor Degree 5 years of frontend development experience with Angular or React, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS 3 years of C#, .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL experience Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and principles and the agile programming methodology Understanding of the software development life-cycle. Module 1 is risk & controls - think of it as a glorified database and workflow tool to help manage a client or business risk & controls ( once a month, review all the data changes with your client if you find a change, you document and make changes). C# across the board with some ASP, MVC, and move to .net standard, .net core, entity framework, sql server Frontend is angular, html, css, javascript Host on Azure not looking for extensive devops background but understand how to deploy apps using Kubernetes; ultimately, knowing how to deploy apps The goal is to develop an onshore tiger team that can help develop things from scratch. Monitoring alarms with production and addressing critical issues (restart a server) -- this is the secondary focus. Operate in scrum teams by module and keeps teams independent. They want onshore to be dev during the day and testing offshore so it can be done at night.
