| Job Title Senior Network Engineer Location Hybrid (1-2 days onsite weekly in either Columbia, MD or Owings Mills, MD) Duration 3 months contract-to-hire Interview Process 2 round video interviews Project Summary Client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support its Network & Security Engineering Team. Essential Functions The hired resource will be responsible for Firewall support (implementation of firewall rules and policies), routing, switching, and load balancing. Client will be ending the migration of 50% of its environment to the cloud (90% Azure, 10% AWS) with the remaining 50% on-prem early next month. Currently they have a 90+ Firewall environment (Palo Alto) with 2 Panorama instances (1 cloud and 1 on-prem). This position requires an on-site presence 1-2 days a week at Columbia or Owings Mills, MD data center locations for ad-hoc hardware support and has a 1-week (Sunday to Sunday) 24/7 on-call rotation every 7-8 weeks.
