| Program Manager Worksite flexibility Remote Job Summary Client: Florida Department of Commerce Fully remote only for Florida candidates 12 month contract, extensions likely only for Florida candidates Candidates Due: End of Day Monday, July 29 Minimum 10 years of industry experience Minimum 3 years in a leadership role Minimum 5 years managing projects Minimum 2 years of experience working within IT and project management within reemployment services or community development or government programs. MUST have at least 5 years experience as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Job Description We are looking for a Program Manager. What Youll Do Managing one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects Developing program strategy Supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans Ensuring integration of projects and adjusting project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of Commerce Communicating with IT leadership, Commerce leadership, and IT Business to communicate program strategy, direction, and changes Delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget, and meeting the strategic and business requirements Tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers Partnering with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of Commerce Coordinating communication with all areas of Commerce that impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed Coordinating status reports and stability of project area work efforts What You'll Need Required Masters or bachelors degree in computer science, business administration, or other related field/equivalent work experience A minimum of ten (10) years of IT and business/industry work experience A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience A minimum of five (5) years in managing projects A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with IT and project management as it pertains to program areas such as reemployment services and/or community development or equivalent governmental program Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Thanks & Regards, Gaurav Jangid Technical Recruiter Email- [email protected] - https://www.linkedin.com/in/gaurav-jangid-97a5241ab/ 806, New Castle , Wilmington, DE, US, 19801 -- Keywords: information technology Delaware Program Manager Local To FL [email protected] |
