Role: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: - Austin, TX Hybrid Duration: 6+ Months The Sr Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will join our team and play a critical role in automating and securing our IaaS deployments on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Azure DevOps and security best practices to design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for our infrastructure provisioning. This includes tasks like defining secure configurations, vulnerability scanning, and implementing least privilege access controls. Must Have: Experience migrating from on prem to Azure cloud Need to have experience housing applications in Azure- application gateway, load balancers, etc.. Basic understanding of azure networking Need to have hosted an application in azure cloud, should know how components in the cloud communicate in the application Certification in designing Azure Infrastructure Solutions is a plus You will be trusted to: Design, develop, and maintain secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services, prioritizing infrastructure automation with security as a top concern. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Bicep to define, provision, and manage Azure resources in a secure and repeatable manner. Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), including Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), User-Defined Routes (UDRs), and VPN connections, adhering to strict security principles. Design and implement Azure Virtual WAN (VWAN) with a Hub-Spoke architecture to securely connect on-premises environments and various Azure regions. Manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), focusing on secure configurations, vulnerability scanning, and least privilege access controls. Develop a process to migrate on prem VMs to Azure Cloud. Configure and manage Azure storage accounts, including different storage types (e.g., Blob, File, Disk) with robust access control (IAM) policies. Implement Azure Active Directory (AAD) for user authentication and authorization with granular access controls for Azure DevOps and cloud resources. Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, including automated vulnerability scanning and security testing of infrastructure deployments. Continuously monitor CI/CD pipelines and Azure resources for performance and security vulnerabilities, identifying and implementing improvements. Stay up to date on the latest Azure DevOps features, Azure security best practices, and emerging threats. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure and efficient infrastructure deployments.
