Advance Knowledge of VMware virtualization platform. At least 8+ years of experience. Advance understanding of storage technologies including SAN, iSCSI, LUNs. Extensive experience with cloud technologies; Compute, storage, load balancer, traffic gateways and security. Solid understanding of SSL certificate managements and encryption. Experience with traffic management such as load balancers and web filtering appliances. Solid understanding of SSL certificate managements and encryption. Experience with using utilities for Backup, System Patching and monitoring tools. Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, and Server Security). Strong technical and computer skills. Ability to coordinate day to day activities for assigned projects. Ability to respectfully communicate with team and project stakeholders and to effectively collaborate within and across teams. Must be an innovate thinker. Strong customer focus with sense of urgency. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be a fast learner with a genuine interest in learning new technologies and skills. Travel is required at 5% of the time. Roles & Duties: Assist team to build, deploy and administer Windows 2012/2016/2019 servers, IIS configuration including setting up web/ftp sites, user access management and App pool management. Implement and administer common TCP/IP based services, including but not limited to DNS/DHCP, HTTPS, SFTP and SSH Support the management, maintenance and architecture of storage, provides disk space management and LUN assignment. Assist the implementation and support of virtual environments using VMware and Cloud Services (Amazon/AWS and Azure) Support configuration maintenance which includes: identifying, testing and applying all pertinent service packs and fixes, and applying security patches based on vendor notifications. Maintain backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions. Create and maintain disaster recovery procedures and conduct tests. Implement replication technologies for seamless failover.
