| Title :: Sr. OpenShift Engineer Location :: Remote USA Duration :: Long term USC GC Only Responsible for designing, developing, and managing the data-based solutions using the OpenShift platform within the Azure cloud environment. Responsible for implementing data ingestion, transformation, processing, and consumption pipelines on OpenShift platform. Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of solutions. Accountable for conducting data exploration and analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights using SQL. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to OpenShift implementations, performance, and data quality. Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout the full lifecycle. Supports product owners with best practices and development patterns recommendations. Communicate, document, and detail development tasks supporting the team's work breakdown activities, story writing, and refinement activities. Ability to co-ordinate with and work in cross functional team environments Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Bachelors Degree and 4 years of Openshift experience Have a deep understanding of Cloud platforms and data engineering technologies, preferably MS Azure. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizes, and makes trade-off decisions. Working knowledge of Azure Openshift and Cluster Management. Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management. Successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets Strong SQL skills to perform data analysis and understanding of source data. Ability to work effectively in an Agile Scrum environment (JIRA / Azure DevOps). Experience in Openshift Data Engineering to create Data Lake solutions using AWS services.
