As a Senior Okta Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating applications with Okta's Identity Engine and Classic Engine using industry standards like SAML 2.0 and OIDC, as well as implementing custom authentication and authorization flows. Key Responsibilities: Okta Integration: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Okta Identity Engine and Classic Engine. Seamless integration of applications using SAML 2.0 and OIDC protocols. Proficiency in Http Header Injection for authentication and authorization. Security and Access Management: Configuration of robust enrollment and conditional access policies for MFA. Design and implementation of custom authentication and authorization flows. Ensuring the highest level of security for user identities and access privileges. Okta Access Gateway: Hands-on experience with Okta Access Gateway for secure access control. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to access gateway configuration. Development Skills: Strong proficiency in NodeJS, AngularJS, and JavaScript for custom development tasks. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in Okta administration and integration. In-depth knowledge of SAML 2.0, OIDC, and HTTP Header Injection. Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts. Experience with MFA implementation and configuration. Hands-on experience with Okta Access Gateway. Proficiency in NodeJS, AngularJS, and JavaScript. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Okta or related technologies. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
