Define optimal data models, schemas, and indexing strategies. Development and Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of Couchbase buckets, scopes, collections, documents, indexes, and full-text search capabilities. Data Solutions: Build comprehensive data solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with REST APIs, batch files, Kafka, and RDBMS systems. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, propose innovative solutions, and conduct key stakeholder sessions. Project Management: Contribute to project estimates, scheduling, and reviews. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team. Administration and Troubleshooting: Oversee installation and upgrade processes. Diagnose and resolve Couchbase-related issues. Required Skills and Experience: Technical Proficiency: Core Skills: 8+ years of experience in distributed database management systems, NoSQL platforms, Couchbase server or Capella, Java, Spring Boot, Python, JSON, XML data handling. Deep Expertise: Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design, NoSQL database architecture, document data modeling, Couchbase data containment model, Couchbase node services, Couchbase SDKs (Java/Python), SQL++ (N1QL), Couchbase shell, and scaling Couchbase infrastructure. Practical Experience: Proven ability to build client SDKs, develop SQL++ queries for data processing, and utilize Couchbase Kafka connector. Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex technical challenges. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members. Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor team members, driving project success. Industry Experience: 4+ years of experience in the software industry. Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in implementing NoSQL database solutions. Desired Skills: Familiarity with Couchbase Control Plan Web UI, query bench, and Couchbase shell. Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
