Please have a look at the below job description, if interested please share your updated resume @ [email protected] Role: Cloud Data Platform Support Analyst Location: Remote (CST, EST) Duration: 12+ months contract Top Skills: Azure, SQL Server and Oracle, Power BI, Data factory, databricks, Spark, Azure Data factory pipelines & data ingestions. Required Skills: Strong experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases (database design, table and view creation, database/SQL query performance tuning, etc.) Strong understanding of Azure Data Lake (design, debugging, performance tuning, and integrations with other data warehouses and operational stores) Experience with Data factory, Databricks, and Spark for ETL processing Experience in working with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses Strong experience with PowerBI Developer / Report Designer Strong understanding of general ETL processes and data model / data structure Solid understanding of application ecosystems (i.e. infrastructure components where the application interacts) Strong verbal and written communications Strong analytical and problem solving aptitude Focused on customer service and the ability to interact with all lines of business at PPL Ability to analyze and resolve issues with production applications in accordance with engagement SLAs Experience working in a 24x7 operational support rotation Produce output that meets acceptable standards for quality, accuracy, and thoroughness Willingness to support some older legacy code to keep application running in changing environments Preferred: Familiarity with service oriented architecture (WebMethods or other) Familiarity with FTP tools such as FileZilla Experience working with job scheduling and batch automation tools such as Automic Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor -- Keywords: business intelligence information technology Cloud Data Platform Support Analyst - Remote (CST, EST) [email protected] |
