Please go through the JD and send resumes to [email protected] Title: Business Data Analyst Location: Denver, CO (Onsite from Day 1) Type: Long Term Exp:10+ Responsibilities: Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide data-driven insights. Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify, create, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs). ETL Processes: Develop and automate ETL procedures and functions from various data sources using Python. System Support: Support and maintain the current build-out of the Operational Intelligence system, including managing three environments and over 350 virtual machines. Architecture and Automation: Contribute to discussions on architecture and automation across Network Operations. Operational Analytics: Work with operational analytic or service assurance platforms. Problem Solving: Address loosely defined problems with critical thinking and stakeholder collaboration. Technical Skills: Data Sources: Experience with Sybase, Splunk, and SQL. Scripting Languages: Proficient in Python, Perl, or shell scripting. Programming Languages: Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Data Types: Experience working with both structured and unstructured data. ETL Experience: Hands-on experience with ETL processes. AI/ML: Experience in AI/ML is a huge plus. Desired Attributes: Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills to interact with stakeholders. Critical Thinking: Ability to understand problems and ask follow-up questions. System Design and Troubleshooting: Capable of designing, implementing, operating, enhancing, and troubleshooting systems in assigned areas. Operational Intelligence: Experience with operational analytic or service assurance platforms. Ideal Candidate: A data engineer or analyst with hands-on experience working with various data sources and ETL processes. Proficient in scripting and programming languages, particularly Python. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and work with both structured and unstructured data. Enjoys working on loosely defined problems and has strong critical thinking skills. Capable of supporting and maintaining large-scale systems and contributing to architecture and automation discussions. This role requires a balance of business analysis (70%) and data analysis (30%), making it ideal for candidates who can effectively bridge the gap between technical data handling and business strategy.
