Title: Business Analyst (Power BI) Duration: 12 months+ Location/Site: North Chicago, IL(Onsite) The Business Systems Analyst will be a crucial contributor to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business applications and data products related to Procurement. This role involves providing specialized technical or business expertise to system projects, managing applications, dashboards, and system data. The analyst will also be responsible for project management and data analytics tasks, which would include identifying, developing, and implementing dashboards/visualizations that enhance productivity. **Responsibilities:** 1. Analyze moderately to highly complex business requests and processes. 2. Develop an action plan for business analysis deliverables, such as requirements definition and use case development. 3. Prepare project artifacts, including Requirements Documents, Activity Diagrams, and Use Cases. 4. Translate use cases into functional data products, involving data acquisition, data analysis, data preparation, data transformation, data modeling, visualization building, and presentation to the business areas. Refine visualization based on collected feedback. 5. Understand the role of data in the broader context and provide recommendations regarding business process evolution. 6. Perform gap analysis by researching and analyzing business processes to optimize business operations. 7. Coordinate and/or perform testing on data dashboard modifications. 8. Conduct business process modeling and facilitate the development of process flows and diagrams. 9. Communicate system changes and issues to higher management and/or project lead. 10. Lead agile project initiatives in compliance with SLC documentation and DDP requirements. 11. Oversee product testing and implementation. 12. Ensure compliance with relevant Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. 13. Create Project Plans, align with stakeholders, and ensure projects stay on track. 14. Undertake any other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** 1. Strong analytics, troubleshooting and business process development skills. 2. 3 years experience with one or more BI tools (Qlik Sense, PowerBI, Tableau, Dataiku, Python, etc.) and SQL language. 3. 3 years experience with data analysis or statistics for data science. 4. 3 years experience with software development and quality assurance/SDLC and IT systems compliance. 5. 1-2 years Procurement source-to-pay domain experience from either business or IT role. 6. Preferred experience with Agile/scrum projects. 7. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. 8. Proven ability to effectively lead and facilitate meetings. 9. Detail-oriented with a focus on deliverables. 10. Exceptional teamwork skills. 11. Strong customer focus. 12. Solid documentation skills.
