Type 9+ months with potential to extend Location Madison, WI 53705 (2 days in office/week) Exp required 15+ years Role Overview: Under the guidance of the IT Solution Delivery Manager, the Application Architect III will provide architectural oversight for new and enhanced software products. This position is crucial for managing technical debt and ensuring robust .NET architecture. The role requires extensive experience and judgment to achieve organizational goals and may involve leading and directing the work of other team members. The position is based at the Hill Farms State Office Building, with a requirement for in-person attendance according to DFIs guidelines. Key Responsibilities Develop and oversee .NET architecture for new and existing software projects. Manage and reduce technical debt within the application portfolio. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide architectural guidance and direction to development teams. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices. Participate in change management processes and decision-making. Possibly lead and direct the work of other IT professionals.
