Responsibilities: Act as a Lead IT Infrastructure for the Global operations team of all areas of the business. Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives. Works closely with business users to define and analyze problems and figure out the most suitable technical, application or configuration solutions. Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project teams; establishing project budgets. Works with Architects and Developers to translate business requirements into functional / technical specs. Validates business and technical requirements are met during the project delivery process. Provide technical support to manufacturing staff. Help troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing information technology problems. Build relationships and provide technology guidance to assigned Business Unit or Function. Creates, reviews, and delivers end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, training materials) and training for accuracy. Oversees User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure business and system requirements are met. Leads both innovation and strategy development with subject matter expertise, when appropriate; Seen as the go-to for subject matter expertise by leading day to day activities. Stay up to date on the latest manufacturing information technology trends and technologies. Work with software providers, IT managed service providers and business to design deliver and maintain manufacturing IT software Qualifications: At least 5 yrs. of experience with strong knowledge of IT Manufacturing processes, Manufacturing Security, Shopfloor applications and application integration processes. Integrating local MES & Shop floor applications, Reporting and labelling systems with SAP or another ERP. Expertise in Computer Networking, Firewalls, Security Architecture, Knowledge on ISA95 are a plus Knowledge in .NET, Java, JavaScript or Python is a plus. Knowledge in MES systems . Database knowledge RDBMS- Preferred Knowledge of API testing tools(Postman, SOPAPUI, Swagger)-Preferred Knowledge in industry 4.0, IIOT,. Project Management experience Preferred. Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Azure DevOps, or other requirements management tools. Knowledge of application and system integration methods and computing environments Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge in SAP MM, WM,PP,PM,MII,ME,DMC preferred. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
