| From: Sushmita Soni, Sonitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi Hope you are doing well , We are Hiring for Dev/Research Engineer and let me know if you are looking for this role and send me your updated Title: Dev/Research Engineer Location: Chillicothe, IL Duration: 12+ Months Overview: ePowertrain team The team works on the simulation of ePowertrain systems Top Skills: 1D Simulation Experience Physics-based Simulation Intellectual curiosity Education: Bachelors degree in engineering required. - 3 years outside of academic (All focused on Simulation) More inclined to candidates with electrical background Masters(preferred) with 3 + years experience outside of academia Experience in CAT or similar company is preferred No cap on maximum number of years Positions Contributions to Work Group : - This role will get assignments primarily from our ePowertrain validation engineers. The role will typically take on two or three significant responsibilities within the group to ensure these tasks are consistently completed at a high quality. Typical task breakdown: - All tasks will be provided with guidance regarding the major steps that need to be taken to complete the tasks. The role will need to take initiative to follow the steps and learn how to accomplish the overall task. Interaction with team : - This role will interact with the team on a daily basis. Work environment : Office work environment. Most of this team is in the office Monday through Thursday. Many work either from home, or make trips to key suppliers on Friday. Technical Skills: (Required) - Clear understanding of laboratory and/or product testing processes. - Clear understanding of Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEAs) (Desired) - Basic understanding of Battery Electric Powertrain systems Soft Skills: (Required) - Good oral and written communication skills - Intellectual curiositywants to understand how everything works.
