| Title: Technical Writer Location: Hybrid in Orange/CA Duration: 1 year CTH Visa: USC/GC Update LinkedIn with profile picture is must Client Note: Need writers that have done tech writing in software applications, databases and system integrations Purpose of Position: Reporting to the Sr. Director, Technical Delivery, the Technical Writer is responsible for creating technical design documents, operating instructions, how-to manuals, technical support instructions, and frequently asked questionscontent for technical staff, business analysts, support staff and other technical resources. The Technical Writer must be able to discuss, understand and document complex technical information including database design, data management, systems integration, application development and technology architecture. The Technical Writer is responsible for maintaining the consistency of technical content across departments, including application development, quality assurance, user testing, cyber security, business operations, sales, marketing, etc.. Essential Functions: Write or revise technical documents for applications, systems integrations, and databases Work closely with technical staff to understand the purpose and technical architecture of multiple systems Maintain a strong knowledge of technical products and environments Edit and enhance material prepared by technical architecture and development staff Create or incorporate visual references (graphs, charts, flows, etc.) to increase document accuracy and usability Elicit feedback to update and improve existing content Builds industry knowledge and develops understanding of business divisions organization and objectives. Maintains an understanding of technical assets and strategic direction. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Strong research and knowledge elicitation skills Curious, detail oriented and interested in learning Works well with technical teams (architects, developers, quality assurance, etc.) Microsoft: Word, Excel, Visio, MS SQL Experience with Microsoft application development tools (C#, Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps/TFS, etc.) An understanding of SaaS infrastructure architecture (Azure, AWS) Regards _______________________________ Suryangi Resource Consultings Services Inc.
