Advise Model owners on how to define and track changes to model use strings. Familiarity with SR 11-7 guidelines and other related risk governance frameworks. Ensure that each model use approval includes descriptions regarding the models approved business use to minimize confusion regarding permissible uses. Review model development and implementation documents in accordance with the risk governance framework requirements and recommend the documentation as ready for the relevant validation activity. Review and verify consideration of the EMRM framework in the vendor model procurement process. Support model owners, model developers, model implementers in their interactions with model validation team, technology initiatives, and the development of data requirements for models. Consult with model owners on the resolution of model issues. Support model owners in managing the portfolio of models including their regular monitoring of model performance and use appropriateness. Review model compensating control plans and provide comments prior to submitting to the appropriate head validation.
