Position Name Sr. Platform Engineer Clarity Platform Contract Type Contract Location Remote USA Additional Information In between role, between Developer roles and Tech Support roles. The Platform engineer is in charge of ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the platform, including functionality questions and support. It is by nature more functional and repetitive. Need a Platform Engineer who can support the more repetitive, which usually isn't as palatable to advanced SWEs, but it's not the type of system babysitting, off hours, like the tech support roles (although they may need to fill in on occasion if needed). Job Description: The Sr. Platform Engineer role is in charge of ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the platform, including functionality questions and support. Provide expert platform support of critical 24x7 Clarity PPM production processes & integrations to support all portfolio, project, time entry, resource & financial forecast reporting for DX Tech & Digital organization. Responds to and update support tickets and requests as needed. Provides excellent service to end-users as needed. Utilizes Clarity Studio components like objects, portlets, processes, lookups, and PPM add-ins to support solutions and develop fixes as necessary. Executes, monitors, troubleshoots, determines root cause and develop/validate jobs/processes for all regular sustainment activities to ensure uptime and reliability of existing Clarity PPM and integrations. Resolve most common PPM integration issues and escalates complex is sues to Sustainment Lead when unable to resolve. Performs administrative and data reporting tasks as needed. Ensures integrity of clients development, change management, and security policies. Supports change management and vendor planned maintenance validation activities as needed, including coordinating activities for environment maintenance, data refreshes, product patches, and product upgrades and, creating documentation for deployment and support activities. Assists in creation of Standard Operating Procedures, documentation and training. Basic Qualifications Proven experience supporting Clarity PPM upgrade/implementation 16.0+ as a Backend Administrator in a web-based hosted SaaS environment. Prior experience supporting configurations, enhancements, and customizations in Clarity PPM ModernUX, including advanced level knowledge of Clarity PM tool functions and capabilities (e.g. Clarity Security, Resource Mgt, Portfolio Mgt, Financial Mgt, Time Mgt modules/Ul) and working knowledge of technical modules, including GEL Scripting, XOG processing, Data Marts, Time slices, NSQL, all other Clarity Studio Customizations; Clarity Portlet Development; Jaspersoft Report Development; SOAP; SQL Prior experience supporting Clarity PPM application with SAP/ERP integration Able to independently troubleshoot Clarity PPM production issues Experience providing Clarity PPM Level 2 & Level 3 support Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications and documentation skills Excellent analytical, debugging and technical problem solving Strong commitment to quality & excellence, ability to communicate effectively and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary. Technical Skills: Clarity PPM in web hosted environments, SFTP, SQL, NSQL, Oracle Preferred Qualifications Globalscape, AWS, Python, GEL Scripting, XOG Processing, ServiceNow, Slack GITHUB for source control, JIRA, RPA Prior experience with Clarity and SAP integrations.
