Service Now Admin

Location: Remote/ Charlotte/ Detroit

Duration: 6 months

Job Description Summary
The CMDB Admin is responsible managing the the day-to-day configuration management services to the organization with minimal direction, focusing work on prioritized tasks to ensure an accurate and reliable CMDB.

What You Will Do:

    Performing operational activities as defined by Configuration Management (CM) policies and procedures

    Fulfilling CM change requests as assigned

    Engaging with strategic projects to ensure CM can deliver required functionality within project time frames

    Mentoring the organization on CM services, concepts, policies, and procedures

    Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of reports as needed

    Collecting and reporting on metrics as required

    Identifying and reporting on noncompliance situations

    Investigating/resolving CMDB related incidents as assigned

    Performing CM audits as directed Advanced knowledge of Data Certifications

    Identifying and reporting up on service improvement opportunities

    Mentoring and helping direct configuration management stewards

    Define, create, and monitor CMDB health reports, dashboards, and other reports that support auditing and compliance of CMDB management.

What You Will Need:

Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in computer science or related degree, or equivalent education/experience

    Three years of relevant CMDB/Configuration Management experience

    Experience with the ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery and how it supports other ITSM processes (e.g.: Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Mgt.)

    Ability to give and receive feedback as part of a cohesive agile squad

    Flexibility and adaptability to change, and continuous learning mindset

    Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with CSDM 3.0 or 4.0

    ITIL Certifications

    Hybrid work/Office Environment, with telecommute ability
