Role: SAS Developer +Admin with SAS Grid experience Locations: Whippany, NJ/ Wilmington, DE (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3 Days every week. Mandatory Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and queries reported from Business community on Production SAS processes, do troubleshooting analysis and apply code fixes for issues reported. Strong communication skills to participate in meetings. Be familiar with SQL with a relational database - preferably Oracle. Knowledge of SAS and prior exposure to development and production support of SAS processes. Desired Skills: Strong communication skills to participate in meetings. Roles & Responsibilities: Assist in Production monitoring of SAS servers and processes Be able to understand code and perform Production code fixes Be familiar with SQL with a relational database - preferably Oracle Technical Hands-on experience on SAS EBI suite - Hands-on experience on working in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling SAS Server usage Good debugging skills to identify issues in Data and at Infrastructure level. Can describe existing technology infrastructure across all major functions/departments and has a comprehensive grasp of emerging technologies: Has a competent understanding of safe and effective support practices Has Grid architecture background to help with L3 support for SAS platform Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications: Hands on experience in SAS BI on SAS 9.2, SAS 9.4 Grid platforms, including SAS Connect, SAS/Intranet Server, SAS OLAP Server, SAS Metadata Server, SAS Object Spawner Knowledge on tuning the SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Server Platform to optimize the Server Performance Experience with databases like Oracle. Strong understanding of software languages, platforms, tools, ITIL framework and methodologies such as SDLC and agile Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: Experience in migrating SAS Enterprise Server to SAS Grid in Linux environment. Experience in Infrastructure analysis tools like Ganglia, App Dynamics Ability to schedule and Monitor Jobs via Tivoli Work Scheduler, LSF Interpersonal Skills Expert problem-solving skills Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion to line manager Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Awaiting your quick response.
