Job will then become hybrid (3 days remote and 2 days onsite) Visa: Only USC Interview: Phone and Video Duration: 6-12+ Months(CTH) Interview: Phone and Video (May be they call in person interview) End Client - Kratos Defense Address :- 490 E Locust St, Dallastown, PA 17313 Note :- Kratos is a defense contractor / manufacturing company Note :- Dallastown is 10 minutes from York, PA and 45 minutes from Harrisburg and Lancaster PA Must have at least 3 years of AS400 Applications and RPG ILE. Any .NET experience is a big plus Must have experience writing and modifying software based on users request from beginning to end. For example, whats the users need, what do you want the program to do or not do. Must have at least a 2 year degree in IT (they prefer a 4 year degree) GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: To design, maintain, and implement company-wide software applications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Writes new software and modifies existing software based on analysis of user requests. Tests, documents, and trains users on new software and modifications. Researches and implements methods of communicating data and information between the AS/400 and the client network. Responds to user requests for program troubleshooting. Acts as backup for other IT functions. Supports on call requirements on a rotating basis for program issues off shift/weekends Other Job Functions Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards. Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors. Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary. Ability to adhere to workplace rules. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required: 2-year degree in related IT discipline or equivalent experience BS degree in related field preferred 3+ years of of programming experience in the following: AS400 applications AS400 RPG ILE ASNA Visual RPG.
