This role will conduct standard scrum master duties such as facilitating scrum ceremonies, raising or removing team barriers and maintaining a tight relationship with the product owner. Experience being a scrum master for multiple scrum teams simultaneously is preferred. Also, the scrum teams are not mature in scrum processes, they are learning, so experience with helping teams navigate and progress through an agile transformation is also preferred. Start date can be as soon as possible - 26th seems realistic, but open to sooner. Responsible for guiding and coaching cross-functional agile teams in the successful delivery of software development projects. Works closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that agile methodologies are followed, and project objectives are met within the constraints of time, cost, and quality. Will facilitate scrum events, remove obstacles, and ensure that the team adheres to agile principles and practices. Responsibilities: Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Coach and guide the development team on agile methodologies, practices, and principles. Ensure that the team adheres to agile processes, and identify and remove any obstacles that hinder team productivity or delivery. Collaborate with the product owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure that the team is focused on the most valuable features and functionalities. Work with the team to estimate and plan sprints, and monitor and report sprint progress to stakeholders. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and encourage the team to reflect on their processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Encourage cross-functional collaboration, and foster a team culture of trust, respect, and transparency. Act as a servant leader, and empower the team to self-organize and make decisions. Maintain metrics and reports related to team productivity, velocity, and quality. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with experience in software development projects. Certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and experience in applying agile principles and practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues. Ability to maintain metrics and reports related to team productivity, velocity, and quality. Experience in coaching and mentoring agile teams, and developing agile training materials. Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Trello. Experience in software development methodologies such as Waterfall or DevOps.
