Title: Data Analyst (Onsite) Work authorization: USC/GC/EAD's Location: Juno Beach, FL LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY (registered and currently located in Juno Beach, FL). Earliest Start Date: ASAP Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension(s) Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client. Must-have skills: 1-3+ y of exp in data analysis, data management, or a related role; SQL; visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar; Python or R or other programming language PREFERRED : energy or big company exp, data integrity and data cleaning processes, data governance and data quality management principles, big data frameworks and technologies, CERTIFICATIONS: Certification in data management or data analysis (e.g., CDMP, CAP). Requirements: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clients site in Juno Beach, FL (required). Experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role (1-3 years) Strong excel skills. Experience with data integrity and data cleaning processes. Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Strong understanding of data governance and data quality management principles. Passion for Data Integrity and Data Quality initiatives. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Preferred: Experience working in the energy sector or with energy-related data. Experience with big data frameworks and technologies. Certification in data management or data analysis (e.g., CDMP, CAP). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform comprehensive data integrity assessments across different datasets and systems. Conduct data cleaning activities to rectify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and duplications. Direct outreach to colleagues requesting they address data issues. Develop and implement data quality rules, standards, and processes. Support the development of automated data cleaning and validation scripts. Work collaboratively with data owners, IT, and other stakeholders to align data governance practices. Utilize data analysis tools (i.e. PowerBI) and techniques to identify patterns and trends. Document data quality issues and remediation actions taken. Provide regular progress reports and data quality metrics to project leaders.
