The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Teradata database systems, data modeling, and data warehousing, along with a deep understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and FR Y-14Q reporting standards. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions for regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. Responsibilities: Design and develop Teradata-based solutions for regulatory reporting processes, including FR Y-14Q reporting and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with business analysts, regulatory compliance teams, and stakeholders to understand regulatory reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements. Implement data modeling and data warehousing best practices to support regulatory reporting data structures and processes. Ensure data quality and accuracy in regulatory reporting systems by implementing data validation and reconciliation processes. Optimize Teradata queries and database performance to meet the demanding requirements of regulatory reporting timelines. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team on Teradata best practices and regulatory reporting standards. Proven experience as a Teradata Developer with a focus on regulatory reporting and FR Y-14Q reporting. Strong knowledge of Teradata database architecture, SQL, and Teradata utilities. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes in the context of regulatory reporting. Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements such as FR Y-14Q, CCAR, and other banking regulatory standards. Solid understanding of financial data, risk data, and regulatory data elements used in regulatory reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Relevant Teradata certifications and knowledge of best practices in Teradata development and performance tuning.
