Job Description Teacher Retirement System of Texas is looking to fill a new Senior QA Lead position and seeking qualified and experienced candidates in this field. Senior Quality Assurance Lead : Ideal candidate should have 12+ years of hands on experience as Quality Assurance lead and working with third party vendors/leading offshore projects handling multiple QA teams and projects. Responsibilities: Partners with the QA Director to architect, implement, and manage a comprehensive QA strategy for the investment data warehouse project. Set the strategic roadmap and develop QA processes and strategies Collaborate with third-party vendors to define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices. Oversee the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential quality issues, implementing mitigation strategies. Drive defect management and resolution, ensuring timely closure of defects. Monitor and report on QA metrics and KPIs to measure and improve quality. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging QA technologies. Implement tools and metrics to proactively measure quality of services across the SDLC lifecycle. Should be willing to step in and perform hands on testing if the need arises. Requirements: Experience working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and enterprise technology transformation space Experience collaborating with Third party vendors, development teams and systems integrators to deliver solutions Experience establishing processes and criteria to regularly evaluate large projects to ensure they meet quality standards. Expertise in testing SaaS applications and data warehousing systems. Experience working with third-party vendors and managing vendor relationships.
