Requited Candidates Linked profile. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be a crucial part of the Cloud Security Engineering Team within the Global Information Security organization. You will be responsible for developing and deploying new security capabilities and automations across a multi-cloud environment. This role requires a combination of software development skills, cloud security expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy new security capabilities and automations in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure). Utilize Python for developing and managing cloud functions and automation scripts. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling for cloud-native deployments. Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and security standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business terms. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud security and automation. Education and Experience Required: Bachelors degree in Information Security or related field or equivalent experience/certification. 7+ years of overall Information Technology experience. 3+ years of software development experience. 2+ years of experience with Python. 2+ years of experience in Information Security. 2+ years of experience in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling for cloud-native deployments. Hands-on experience with building and managing cloud functions (e.g., AWS Lambda). Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Strong ability to articulate complex technical ideas in business-friendly terms. Preferred: Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Professional Architect, AWS Security Specialty, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of securing technologies such as Cloud-Native Services (e.g., VPCs, S3 buckets), Container Platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), APIs, and Identity and Access Management. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability. Demonstrated ability to manage details and compliance with standards and expectations. Background in technical infrastructure operations, administration, or engineering.
