Job Description - Role - DevOps Engineer Location - New York, NY Onsite - Local candidates only they are highly preferred. Duration - 12+ Months Contract Visa : USC, GC, GC-EAD and H4-EAD Active LinkedIn profile is a must Please submit candidates who have extensively worked on the Investment Banking / Financial Clients and have 10+ years of experience Duties: Manage Cloud infrastructure (Mainly AWS, but some Azure) via Console and Terraform Develop tools , applications and automation scripts via Python Investigate and Resolve Technical errors. Perform Root cause analysis for production issues and incidents to address and prevent them for repeating. Write out design documents and implementation plan for infrastructure buildouts Document processes and procedures related to DevOps and production support tasks. Maintain business systems and interface applications, from an infrastructure and scripting level. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in computer science or related field 5+ years of experience in technology preferably supporting Investment and Investment Technology solutions. Strong Knowledgeable in Cloud technologies, such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure Experience, but not proficiency, in: Python, RDBMS/SQL, and general scripting technologies. Ability to understand highly complex systems and data flows. Understanding of markets, asset management/asset classes, and related accounting flows is preferred. Demonstrated analysis and communication skills, able to resolve technology and business problems. Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups.
