Role:FortiGate and Next-generation firewalls & Infra Security L3/Network Engineer Location: REMOTE IN USA MUST WORK AS PER CST Times from 8 AM CST (Occasional travel to client site as needed) Duration:Long term Contract Interview process: Teams/ Web Ex Job Descriptions: Years of Experience Must have 8+ years experience with FortiGate and Next-generation firewalls and Infrastructure Security General Description Must have experience in working with Firewall deployment on Azure Public/Gov cloud. Must have experience in intrusion prevention system (IPS) rule creation. Must have experience in VPN. Good understanding on advance attacks and mitigation technologies. Must have team management and customer interaction skills. Technical Requirements Must have experience creating, modifying firewall rule sets, studying network traffic flows to reverse - engineer the required firewall rules to lock down an application, and troubleshooting firewall problems in an enterprise or service provider environment under short time constraints involving complex network application flows between multiple hosts spanning multiple firewalls and different geographic locations. Must have hands-on technical experience installing, configuring, documenting, and testing for Fortinet firewalls, at multiple customer sites. Must have experience in managing vendor relationships. Must have exposure in creating design documents (HLD and LLD), implementation plan, configuration documents. Must have expertise in understanding Azure terminology and working in Azure environment. Must have expertise in Remote Infrastructure management for network and information security. Soft Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in working with security stakeholders and other senior security leaders. Interface with client stakeholders on technical requirements to improve and build the FortiGate platform.
