Project Summary: As a GCP Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and optimization of cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will help guide our cloud strategy and ensure that our systems are secure, scalable, and efficient. Responsibilities: Design and Implementation: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure GCP solutions. Collaboration: Work with development, DevOps, and IT teams to integrate GCP services with existing systems and applications. Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of cloud resources. Security: Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and network security. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to GCP infrastructure and applications. Required Qualification: Proven expertise as a Cloud Solutions Engineer with extensive experience in deploying, debugging, and executing cloud computing initiatives. Adept at designing, developing, and maintaining GCP cloud-based systems to ensure efficient data storage and strict adherence to security policies. Demonstrated proficiency with key GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage. Skilled in Python and SQL, with a strong background in building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Experienced in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
