This is a 6 month contract and will be a rolling contract. It will be mainly remote with occasional onsite at key stages in Philadelphia. It is to Eastern time zone. A BPO (Business Process Owner) for SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the implementation and operation of the SAP EHS module within an organization. 1. Strategic Planning and Implementation: Define the overall strategy and objectives for the SAP EHS module in alignment with the organizations business goals. Lead the implementation of SAP EHS solutions, ensuring they meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and systems. 2. Process Management: Develop, document, and maintain EHS processes and procedures. Ensure that EHS processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and evaluate EHS processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. 3. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards. Ensure that the SAP EHS module is configured to comply with relevant regulations. Coordinate audits and inspections to ensure compliance and address any findings. 4. Training and Support: Provide training to users and stakeholders on the SAP EHS module and related processes. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for EHS-related issues. Act as a point of contact for EHS-related queries and concerns. 5. Data Management and Reporting: Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of EHS data. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of EHS data within the SAP system. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights and support decision-making. 6. Risk Management: Identify and assess EHS risks within the organization. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans. Monitor the effectiveness of risk management efforts and adjust as needed. 7. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, management, regulatory bodies, and vendors. Communicate EHS objectives, initiatives, and performance to stakeholders. Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization. 8. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for EHS processes and systems. Benchmark against industry best practices and incorporate innovative solutions. Evaluate the impact of changes and ensure they contribute to the organizations EHS goals. The role of a BPO for SAP EHS is crucial in ensuring that the organizations EHS activities are managed effectively, comply with regulations, and support the overall business strategy.
