| Role- QA Architect Location Tampa FL (Onsite) Role Description: Test Framework Design: Develop comprehensive test frameworks for both test automation and manual testing. Ensure the frameworks are scalable and adaptable to different project needs. Implementation & Coordination: Direct and coordinate the implementation of test automation tools and other testing tools. Ensure integration with existing systems and processes. Test Environment Design: Design and manage test environments to support different types of testing (e.g., functional, performance, security). Ensure environments are stable, reflective of production, and properly configured for testing activities. Test Design Guidance: Provide expert guidance on the most effective test design techniques, including choosing the right approaches for various testing types (e.g., performance testing, automation testing, service virtualization). Test Data Creation: Design methods for creating, managing, and maintaining test data to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Coordination with Release Processes: Align testing activities with release schedules, ensuring thorough testing before deployment. Support to Test Manager: Assist the Test Manager in achieving strategic goals by providing technical support and guidance to the testing team. Testing Methodology Design: Have a broad understanding of testing approaches, practices, and techniques. Contribute to designing and refining the overall testing methodology used by the team. Effectiveness Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor the effectiveness of the testing function and identify areas for improvement through analysis of the software development and testing lifecycle (SDLC/STLC). Tool & Technology Alignment: Identify and recommend tools and technologies for implementation, ensuring alignment with the broader development function and team skillsets. Test Automation Framework Development: Design and develop reusable test automation frameworks, harnesses, and code libraries to be utilized and enhanced across projects. Test Infrastructure Management: Take responsibility for test infrastructure, including environments and software. Liaise with DevOps, support, and other teams to maintain and enhance the infrastructure. Technical Documentation & Training: Provide technical know-how, documentation, and training to the testing team and other business functions. Continuous Learning & Adaptation: Stay updated with the latest developments in testing processes, practices, and technologies, and incorporate them into the organization's testing strategies. Competencies: Strategic Thinking: Ability to align testing strategies with business goals. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of various testing tools, methodologies, and best practices. Leadership: Capability to guide and mentor the testing team. Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues in testing processes.
