| Title: Business Analyst Exp: 13+ VISA: USC Location: Indianapolis, IN - LOCALS(5 Days Onsite) (No Remote) Note: No Visa Sponsorship will be provided. There will be a security clearance required which client will help in getting this initiated upon successful selection. Job Description: The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements and interpreting business needs into detailed requirements that can be easily understood by the development teams. Duties also include creation of business requirements documentation, ensuring product quality, ease of maintenance, and reusability of the final solution. Job Responsibilities Serve as the conduit between the client business units and the technology teams to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements. Clarify requirements, critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Create and maintain requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language. Collaborate with developers and architects to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability, performance needs, and other non-functional requirements. Accountable for self-organization and tracking completion of assigned tasks as well as reporting project status and issues. Additional job functions include providing input to test cases and test data, review testing results to ensure the system meets business requirements and design. Experience Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related area; equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute for education. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst. General experience includes increasing responsibilities in operations or information systems analysis and design. Strong problem solving and analytical ability, including knowledge of business analysis techniques and processes (i.e. interviews, document analysis, prototypes, process maps, use cases, or data mapping). Excellent oral and written communication skills to include documentation, meeting facilitation, ability to tailor information based upon the audience, and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts. Basic project management skills with the ability to self-manage and work on multiple assignments given changing priorities. Customer service attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to assimilate, organize, and summarize large amounts of information. Experience with using a formalized software development lifecycle methodology or an Agile framework. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, and SharePoint. Thank Regards.
