| From: Sonali, KPG [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Performance Engineer Location: Irving, Texas- Local only Duration: 3 month+ Job Notes: Submittal Process: * candidates need to have LinkedIn profile with profile picture or a photo ID in the submittal *** give me specific days/times this week they can interview and IF they can do a final interview onsite *** Interview Process: * 2 internal video Interviews * final round client interview (onsite HEAVILY PREFERRED) -- this is required to be conducted on Tuesday, August 6th -- please make sure your candidates are available on this day *** NOTE: the client prefers to conduct this round onsite; if your candidate is available but only virtually, please include that in your submit *** Skills | Must-Haves: * 6+ years of professional experience * heavy Azure experience * experience with mocks/stubs, either custom built or using tools like Wiremock * GCP experience working with API's and cloud infrastructure * experience with continuous integration, guild pipelines and automated test reporting * lives local to Irving, TX Nice to Have Skills: * Bachelor's Degree * Azure certifications ____________________________________________________________________________ Job Description: Performance Engineer Responsibilities: Automate-first, striving for complete automation of acceptance testing for release features Participate in cross-functional collaboration to refine software requirements, with a clear focus on intent and outcomes, and plan, prepare and deliver implementation of test automation Define comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing Implement test automation of acceptance scenarios, by not just taking lead from the core automation teams in technology and strategy, but also actively collaborating to yield solutions to new challenges Support and advocates established testing procedures and provide input to establish those procedures Guide and coach team members how to implement testing processes Creation and review of automated scripts. Requirements: Mainly Azure 6+ years of experience with all aspects of software test engineering Commitment to quality and high standards with close attention to detail Strong diagnostic, analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills Experience designing, writing, and executing test plans Experience working with APIs, Micro-services, cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform) Experience automating API testing for Java and scripting platforms using tools such as Selenium/JUnit/Mocha Experience with test automation using Postman, SoapUI or similar tools Experience with mocks / stubs, either custom built or using tools such as Wiremock Experience with BDD and Gherkin feature file creation. Experience in setting up testing environments (advising on what data to put in etc.) Experience with continuous integration, build pipelines, automated test reporting Agile development experience with Scrum methodology Experience in working on Digital Transformation initiatives including defining and executing QE strategies.
