The z environment is very up-to-date with z/OS v3.1 and all the latest middleware CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, etc. This effort is in support of security VAP testing their z products. Overall need experience with: SMP/E Configuration Full product Installation Candidate must understand they'll be configuring tools they haven't configured before. Need to know the basic SMP/E commands for installing and de-installing. Also need to know what they do. The commands are the following: Receive Apply Accept Reject Restore This effort is in support of security VAP testing their z products. 2 Systems Programmers who know SMP/E-- Vanessa will be overseeing these folks, getting them to install and configure rocket software in the zRCE product. SMP/E is the easy part Candidate must understand they'll be configuring tools they haven't configured before. Comfortable reading a manual and reaching out if they have any issues-- for the most part will be doing config themselves according to the manual-- if not interpreting correctly should reach out. Will be reaching out to the Product Owners/Developers If they're familiar with looking around and getting to know their environment will be important Can take a look at various configurations A lot of different resources Might be doing some of the system work as well as the product work. Full Product Install Working from program directory to installation guide-- one to end number of rocket mainframe products Vanessa has a process in place to build these out in a common looking field Also will need rapid automation around it in order to do weekly receives Some need weekly, some monthly follow up, etc. IF products can self-maintain themselves this will be super beneficial VAP testing is not needed here A product team they brought along will be running the testing Won't be doing any of the testing or anything after the testing is completed, knowing the resolution Goal: To get as many products installed in the zRCE quickly Want to really get as many Rocket products exposed as possible Want vulnerabilities closed and keep them out of the products This is where the SMP part comes in-- and will all be updated on a monthly basis Thanks & Regards Sushmita Soni Sr. Technical Recruiter| SoniTalent Corp.
