Essential Skills: 5+ years of experience in a technical support environment, preferably within a SCIF or similar secure federal setting. Attainment of one or more IT-related certifications. Proficient knowledge of PC/laptop hardware architecture and DOS/Windows suite. Understanding of LAN composition and Ethernet technologies (10base2, 10baseT, 100baseT). Experience with various protocols including TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NetBIOS. Knowledge and experience with dial-up technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Strong Linux and systems administration skills. Experience working in a network operations center environment.
