Job Description:- Job Role:- AWS Cloud Engineer Location :- Manassas, VA (Hybrid) Contract Local only Onsite Interview Required The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services and infrastructure automation, with a focus on security and compliance. Key Responsibilities: AWS Service Deployment: Deploy foundational AWS services such as VPC, Subnet, Routes, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, ELB, S3, EBS, RDS (Aurora), DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc. Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation. Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying AWS infrastructure. Ensure the infrastructure is deployed as code for consistency and scalability. Security and Compliance: Understand and implement security best practices to secure AWS environments. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Immutable Infrastructure: Manage immutable infrastructure setups with EC2 instances. Optimize the infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency. AWS Landing Zone: Experience with AWS Landing Zone is a plus. Manage and configure AWS environments within the Landing Zone framework. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong experience with deploying AWS services as Infrastructure as Code. Proficiency in using Terraform or CloudFormation for AWS infrastructure management. Basic understanding of AWS security and compliance requirements. Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of managing immutable infrastructure setups with EC2. Familiarity with AWS Landing Zone and its configurations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with AWS Landing Zone Domains. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure Automation and DevOps practices. Understanding of cloud computing concepts and services. Must have AWS Cloud VPC, Subnet, Routes, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, ELB, S3, EBS, RDS(Aurora), DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Cloudtrail etc Experience with AWS Landing Zone Cloud security - IaaS / PaaS - Serverless Container deployment Python / Java Scripting / Automation Terraform or CloudFormation Infrastructure Automation DevOps Cloud.
