The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Systems Engineering, power electronics, and microprocessor architecture. 2. Understanding of modern consumer SoC microprocessors, DSP, neural and image processors. 3. Expertise in LDOs, SMPS and power distribution in embedded systems 4. Experience with schematic and layout tools similar to OrCAD and Allegro 5. Expertise in power consumption modeling power trees and optimization on SoC microprocessors 6. Experience with Lab Equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DC Analyzers and DAQ system 7. Experience debugging power issues on embedded electronics devices 8. Experience with Linux or Android based consumer devices 9. Familiarity with Matlab and Python Key Job Responsibilities: 1. Conduct Power consumption characterization on complex embedded consumer systems/ devices (Echo devices, eReaders, Tablets, FireTV sticks) for different use cases. 2. Works independently to take power consumption data based on test plan 3. Dive deep into power related issues and work with Power engineer to solve them 4.
