Job Title: Helpdesk Analyst (Hybrid Role)

Location: Augusta, Maine

Onsite Requirement: Once every other week; remote the remainder of the time

Contract Type: Contract

Note: Only local candidates will be considered.

Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This hybrid role involves working onsite in Augusta, Maine once every other week, with the remainder of the work being performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Support: Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to users, addressing issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
System Administration: Perform a full range of system administration functions to control and optimize system utilization and efficiency.
Service Desk Management: Staff the service desk queue to manage and respond to incoming calls and support requests.
Technical Troubleshooting: Utilize remote tools to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues effectively.
Documentation & Reporting: Document each call and troubleshooting step clearly and concisely; contribute to and help maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
Software & Hardware Testing: Test and evaluate software and hardware products to determine their applicability and value to agency operations.
Flexibility & Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility to move between different teams as needed and perform tasks requiring physical exertion, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
Customer Relationship Management: Understand and apply best practices in customer relationship management, including emotional intelligence in a technical service desk environment.
Timely Responses: Respond promptly and effectively to email and live messaging communications.

Customer Service: Proven ability to provide high-quality customer support and service.
Service Desk Experience: Experience managing service desk operations and handling incoming support requests.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and convey technical information clearly.

Qualifications:
Strong background in service desk operations and customer support.
Experience with system administration and technical troubleshooting.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing needs.
Local candidates preferred due to onsite requirements.
