Please let me know if you are interested in the position below Title: ITOM/CMDB Engineer Location:.Hybrid- Bloomfield, CT Duration : Long Term Contract Visa :- Only USC/GC (No GC EAD) Job Description: Duties Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Infrastructure matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Serves as the lead technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions. Leads the design, analysis, development and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving complex infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. May be involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve escalated infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise. Responsibilities may include risks assessments, partnering on capacity planning, budget forecasting, and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems. May serve as the primary contact for vendors. Technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as "the go-to person" for the most complex Infrastructure Engineering assignments. Skills This position requires a strong ITOM/CMDB development background as they will lead a team of developers (on and offshore) in areas of design, development, documentation, testing, and modification of existing and new ITOM & CMDB capabilities, discovery patterns and sensors, championing standard techniques, procedures, and criteria They will participate in architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy versus build decisions They will supervise and communicate the development project status, dependencies, and risks and mitigation strategies to the project team and leadership Daily interaction with ServiceNow and ITOM configuration management database (CMDB) services in an enterprise product environment Helps maintain the governance, polices, and direction of the CMDB Assists in leading the CMDB discovery, Cl relationship vision and roadmap Maintains the integrity of the CMDB and Discovery processes Responsible for maintaining Discovery application tool within ServiceNow Identify improvements with internal consumers of data whose processes interact with the CMDB Education BS Computer Science / Engineering 5-8 years of experience in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience 2+ years overall experience as a ServiceNow ITOM administrator, resolving ITSM tickets, Incident resolution, Request fulfillment and Change management Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Mapping Knowledge of ServiceNow fundamentals, including ServiceNow Discovery Knowledge of Agile Methodology and software development Thanks and Regards Sarfaraz Khan US IT Recruiter | Convex Tech In Email: [email protected] LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/sarfaraz-khan-stellar/ Keywords: information technology golang green card Connecticut ServiceNow ITOM CMDB Engineer in Bloomfield, CT(Hybrid) [email protected] |
