Job Description: The Network Systems engineer analyzes networking needs, recommends solutions, designs, implements, maintains, and supports the local area network (LAN) and the wide area network (WAN). Engineers must be able to work independently, juggle multiple demands and prioritize work in a dynamic environment. The Network Services department works closely with the systems and ITS security teams. You will need to provide technical expertise in the engineering, installation, monitoring, and maintenance of the network in support of business needs. Desired Technical Skills: Expertise with all IP network technologies including IPV4 / OSPF / BGP / protocol analysis / VPNs / Firewalls / SNMPv3 / netflow and monitoring tools.
