| Hi, We have a Urgent hiring for Senior Business Analyst LOCATION: TALLAHASSEE, FL The Client is looking for an Advanced/Senior Business Analyst that will be focused on the transition to Florida PALM. The Contractor will spend most of the time consulting directly with the Director and Staff of the OAGs Division of Administration, and key information technology personnel. The Contractor will coordinate and support the OAGs Florida PALM Division functional activities and understand their business needs. The Contractor will work closely with information technology personnel to understand the financial accounting data conversions and interfaces. The Contractor will attend all Florida PALM meetings and prepare all required reports. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate requirements in technical discussions with management, accounting and finance personnel, and information technology personnel to ensure the smooth transition to the Florida PALM requirements for the OAG. This position is on-site. Description Elicit detailed FLAIR accounting interface designs from Finance & Accounting team members. Create detailed business process designs and business system designs that meet the Florida PALM business needs. Document and communicate any risks and issues during the project. Work with information technology personnel to understand the current FLAIR interface designs and validate that the new software interface solution(s) will satisfy the business needs. Conduct functional testing of the new software interface solution(s). Create and deliver documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented processes. Recommend changes that support business processes. Assist the Director, Division of Administration in status reporting and project milestone tracking. Participate in the Florida PALM Project Office Hours, Workshops, Town Hall meetings, and other required communication sharing activities for the effective implementation of changes within the OAG. Participate in interface testing and mock conversion activities with the Florida PALM project team. Ensure that new business process models are reviewed and implemented where applicable. Ensure that process changes are documented. Ensure that the new Chart of Accounts is reviewed, and crosswalk tables are implemented within business systems as needed. Transition OAG users from the Department of Financial Services (DFS) legacy systems to Florida PALM. Assist in coordinating project activities and deliverables across Finance & Accounting team members. Effectively plan and conduct transition activities of newly implemented functionality to appropriate teams. Provide post-implementation support. Knowledge and Skills Direct experience with the Florida PALM Project. Ability to document As Is FLAIR interface processes and work with Finance & Accounting to develop To Be processes to Florida PALM Ability to work with Finance & Accounting teams to gather and understand detailed functional requirements Ability to work closely with IT teams to ensure interface designs are aligned with business objectives Assist in converting requirements into designs / configurations for testing, review and implementation plans with the Finance & Accounting team Preference will be given to candidates with previous exposure to Florida PALM. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role Previous experience with financial accounting systems Good understanding of the Florida PALM Project Demonstrated organizational skills in terms of project management, meeting facilitation and definition of solutions with the business. Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to articulate business solutions. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams to develop and configure solutions.
